Following the trend of previous semesters, we as a fraternity are continuing to engage in Brotherhood-only events such as weekly poker nights, intramural team sports, and chapter dinner every Sunday evening. The chapter’s soccer team made it to the intramural semifinals and the basketball team made it to the playoffs. Two of the main brotherhood […]
Having accepted the positions of Prior and Vice Prior of the Beta Psi chapter, we had certain expectations going forward. First, we planned to throw a fantastic Spring Rush so that we could welcome our new class and maintain our good standing with SAM Nationals and UVa’s Inter-Fraternity Council. Rush went incredibly well, and we […]
This year we have focused on benefiting local organizations and aiding the Alzheimer’s Association through various events. We supported the local Walk to End Alzheimer’s on October 18th by acquiring donations and participating in the event. This coming weekend, the current brotherhood will be going to the local Habitat for Humanity office to build benches […]
On the weekend of September 24th-26th, the current brotherhood welcomed our parents and families to the chapter for our annual Parent’s Weekend. On Friday night, we attended a formal dinner at the Downtown Grill on the Charlottesville Downtown Mall. We hosted a pregame tailgate at the Chancellor Street house on Saturday before the game where […]
On October 25th, over 50 alumni, family, and friends attended our postgame alumni tailgate at the newly purchased house on Chancellor Street. Rush has been a big focus for us this year. Throughout the fall semester we worked hard to reach out to as many rushes as possible. By networking through our high schools and hosting a number of events to meet first years, we were able to get a good sense for many of the potential […]

We were able to raise over $800 directly benefitting the Judy Fund at the Alzheimer’s Association, SAM’s national philanthropy. Currently we are finishing out our letter campaign and looking forward to our next event in a couple weeks. This semester we are having […]
This year we had a very successful alumni tailgate hosted by Randy Shapiro for the VMI football game on September 21st. After the game we had a great BBQ dinner at the house, where the alumni were able to come meet more of the brotherhood and get a better feel for the house on Chancellor […]
