Dear Fellow Ravens,
It is the 200th anniversary of Edgar Allan Poe’s enrollment at the University this year – quite a milestone! For those who haven’t returned to Grounds recently, we continue to maintain the Poe Room on the West Range. It is a popular destination for many Hoos, Ravens, and curious admirers of Poe.
Since I last wrote, we have welcomed 118 new Ravens into the Society this fall and brought together over 300 Ravens through elections, initiation, and faculty student dinners. Thank you to those who have participated in our events and to those who send your support from afar.
As 2025 draws to a close, please renew your dues and make a year-end gift to the Alexander “Sandy” Gilliam Raven Society Endowment. Your support sustains student programming, preserves the Poe Room, and strengthens alumni-student mentorship.
