We recently completed another successful rush, with 19 first years and two second years. The actives are very pleased with the new class. Not only is it our second consecutive class with at least 20 guys, but they are guys they are proud to call brothers. The new brothers represent eight club sports teams: baseball, dodgeball, flag football, hockey, squash, swimming, tennis, and water polo. They are also some pretty smart guys: there are four Echols Scholars, one Rodman Scholar and two Jefferson Scholars. More importantly, the actives say they like to have good time! We also have two legacies in the class: Brendan Oakes (Col class of ’29), brother of Connor Oakes (Col class of ’27) and son of Michael Oakes (Col class of ’96), and Gavin Remy (Col class of ’29), brother of Aidan Remy (Col class of ’25).
