It has been over 24 months since more than 300 Phis gathered in Charlottesville to celebrate the 150th anniversary of our founding at UVA. To date, the Phi 150th Anniversary Fund has pledges approaching $400k, with over 90% of those pledges already received. Five Brothers have made $25,000 pledges and an additional 17 have pledged $5,000 or more! It is our goal that all brothers will make a gift that is meaningful to them at any level. The Phi House is at its best when we are all in it together.
We have made significant improvements to the house which will help ensure that One University Circle continues to serve as the epicenter of fraternal life for many years to come. However, there is still much more we would like to accomplish. At this point, we have four significant projects left on our ”to-do” list:
- Building a new, expanded front porch
- Replace all exterior entry doors and wood shutters
- Updating the landscaping and hardscaping in both the front and back yards
- Paying off the balance of the variable rate mortgage at One University Circle
