The Spring ’25 edition of the Phiner Times was very well received. Based on its popularity, we will continue to include more articles and photos referencing our shared history. Here are some of the comments we received:
Dr. Henry Williams (Col class of ’71): If you are spending the money, looks like the proposed new porch should be deeper by four or so. Would be nice if it could accommodate a couple of tables and chairs, not just chairs. (Editor’s note: the front porch is planned to be nine feet deep – large enough for couches, or better yet, a ping pong table.)
Jack Butt (Col class of ’72): This is the best issue of Phiner Times I’ve seen in 50 years! Great job, and thanks!
Boo Webb (Col class of ’74): Very nice edition. Good job!
John Miller (Com class of ’74): Fabulous issue – I have some front porch pix to share.
Mark Rufolo (Col class of ’77), former house president: Great job! Loved reading about the house and the strong new pledge class and seeing the photos… even the ones I’m not in, and even those picturing guys I don’t know. Great brotherhood!
Glenn Camp (Engr class of ’78, Darden class of ’82): Very nice job. Thank you. We were young once, weren’t we!
Bill Utt (Engr class of ’79, Darden class of ’84): Thanks for all your contributions to reinvigorating the Phi traditions!
Bob Anderson (Engr class of ’79, class of ’81): Made me feel 50 years younger! Loved seeing pictures of the brothers I loved. I shed tears seeing Chris Kimball (Col class of ’77) (who passed last year). Boy, I wish I could redo those days. Thanks for keeping me in the brotherhood!
Lee Bunn (Arch class of ’80): Really great issue – all of the pics are fantastic and span many great years and classes of Phis. Thanks for your good work! I will continue to send annual support.
