Happy holidays from Alpha Tau Omega!

All-Years Delta Chapter Reunion Recap

As we close out the year, we want to extend a warm welcome and a heartfelt thank you to the extensive network of alumni who stepped up to support the Delta Chapter. The reclaiming of 125 Chancellor Street was truly a “whole of fraternity” effort. It was your generosity and belief in this turnaround that allowed us to secure our home once again, ensuring the legacy of the chapter for generations to come.

To celebrate this monumental achievement, hundreds of brothers gathered October 23–26, 2025, for our long-awaited Revival Reunion.

The weekend began with early arrivals gathering on Thursday, but the festivities truly kicked into high gear on Friday. We clocked around 170 guests at the All-Eras Dinner at Three Notch’d, before the crowd moved to 125 Chancellor for a Welcome Reception that lasted well past midnight.

On Saturday morning, the brotherhood reconvened at the house to formally dedicate our newly renovated rooms to the alumni and honorees who have made such significant contributions to the chapter’s history. Following afternoon outings, the ’80s alumni took the lead that evening, organizing a massive band party at the house.

Featuring the rockabilly sounds of Brandon Wayne & his Lonesome Drifters—along with special guest and C’ville guitar legend, Ian Gilliam—it was a fantastic night that gave our alums the chance to relive their glory days (for some!) and celebrate the bright future you all helped build. The weekend concluded Sunday with a farewell brunch, sending everyone home with renewed pride in the Delta Chapter.

Recruitment Update

The 2025-2026 recruitment cycle has been highly successful for the Delta chapter throughout the fall informal recruitment season. Because the IFC formal recruitment window is in the spring, the Taus have jumped on the opportunity to form relationships with potential new members (PNMs) all semester long.

The chapter has successfully connected with over 200 PNMs this fall through a variety of events, including poker nights, brotherhood dinners, football watch parties, tailgates, golf outings, socials on the Corner, and our annual ‘Fratsgiving’ Thanksgiving Potluck. Additionally, our social calendar has continued to build interest, with many saying our events are currently the best on Grounds.

We are well-prepared for formal rush in the spring. Rush is broken into three rounds with ‘no-contact days’ in between. The Taus plan to fully utilize these breaks to host small, personal dinners with rushees—allowing us to build deeper connections within IFC guidelines.

For the first round, we strive to showcase the new and improved Chapter House with three on-site events. For the second round, Delta will host off-site outings to strengthen bonds, including a seafood boil. The third round is reserved for a formal coat-and-tie dinner and a retreat at Massanutten Ski Resort for snow tubing and an overnight stay.

This year’s success stems from incredible participation within the active chapter as well as alumni support. The actives are incredibly grateful to the alumni for making recruitment possible year in and year out. We look forward to using last year’s momentum to carry us into a successful spring.

Support the Active Chapter

Our return to 125 Chancellor Street was a massive victory, made possible by your generosity. Now, to cement ATΩ’s status as a top-tier fraternity at UVA, we must transition from a fundraising sprint to a marathon of sustainability.

Where Your Money Goes:

  • Active Rent: Covers the basics (Debt service, insurance, property taxes).
  • Alumni Donations: Covers the capital (Emergency repairs, building maintenance, recruiting support).

We just invested $2.3 million to create a premier facility. We cannot allow it to degrade due to a lack of reserves, as was common in the past. We need a robust “rainy day” fund to handle the inevitable wear and tear of a fraternity house without resorting to emergency crisis appeals.

The Ask: Please consider setting up a recurring monthly donation. It is an easy, “set it and forget it” way to ensure the Delta Chapter remains financially sound and physically impressive for years to come.
