Season’s Greetings from 503 Rugby!
As the parent of a new Hoo, I find myself reflecting on the lifelong friendships I formed at UVA through my Kappa experience. Many of my Kappa sisters have been by my side throughout the 30 years since graduation, and the bond we share has only deepened with time. Kappa has also continued to bring new and meaningful relationships into my life, creating shared experiences that reconnect old friends and spark new connections. I give to Kappa because I deeply value the gift of sisterhood it gave me—perhaps even more now than I did as a young adult.
Today, Epsilon Sigma continues to foster a vibrant sisterhood of women who are active on Grounds and beyond. Our newly renovated chapter house and dedicated staff provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming home away from home for members throughout their years at UVA.
As we look ahead, I hope you’ll consider donating to Kappa’s capital campaign to help ensure the chapter’s financial strength and to support the self-funded scholarships that make membership accessible for all who wish to join. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference—and is warmly appreciated.
