On behalf of the actives, we’re excited to share an initiative we’ve just launched this semester:
We have partnered with Piedmont CASA to lead a fundraising campaign called Hall for Hope.
Piedmont CASA’s mission is to provide best-interest advocacy for children in the courts of Virginia’s 16th Judicial District. Their volunteers work to ensure that every child experiencing possible abuse or neglect is safe, has a permanent home, and has the opportunity to thrive. It is an organization making a tangible difference in the Charlottesville community.
We have set a goal of raising $50,000, culminating in a philanthropy event on April 11th. We are reaching out to our alumni network because your continued support and involvement have always been central to our impact.
If you are willing, we would greatly appreciate a contribution of any size. Every gift, no matter the amount, brings us closer to our goal and directly supports children in need.
We are also offering corporate sponsorship opportunities. Businesses that contribute $500 or more will receive recognition on Piedmont CASA’s Instagram page as well as representation on event shirts that will be sold at our April 11 Darty. If you are interested in sponsoring or would like more information, please feel free to reach out to our philanthropy chairs:
- Connor Spano (Col class of ’28), zct7ue@virginia.edu
- Bennett Yue (Col class of ’27), hny4rt@virginia.edu
Thank you for your continued support and for helping us make a meaningful impact in our community. We truly appreciate it.
