All alumni, friends, and family are invited to learn the basics of American Mahjong and celebrate Lunar New Year with DC Hoos and AAPAAN. AAPAAN’s Professional Networks Chair, Adam Luo (Grad class of ’20), will lead instruction of the game and also share about the history of Mahjong in China and its introduction to the United States – starting in the 1920’s. We’re excited to offer a custom UVA and Lunar New Year cocktail for participants and extended Happy Hour deals.
