Important Calendar Events:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saturday, September 12th, 3:30pm: National Anthem at Football Game vs. Notre Dame<\/strong><\/p>\n

We were so honored to have had the opportunity to sing our rendition of the anthem at a UVa home game for the first time! After a reporter from ESPN tweeted that we “should probably sing every national anthem everywhere” when he heard us at a home basketball game against Georgia Tech, we are in high demand!<\/p>\n

Thursday, September 24th and Sunday, September 27th: Annual Fund Drive<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s that time of year again! We will be reaching out to our alumni and parent networks to ask for donations that will go toward music, dresses, binders, printing, musicians, publicity, rental of performance venues, and everything we need to keep this chorus running.<\/p>\n

Saturday, October 24th, 7pm: Family Weekend Concert<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are excited to continue the tradition of singing alongside the University Singers and the Glee Club in this wonderful show. Singing our alma mater with nearly 200 voices is an especially unique and wonderful experience.<\/p>\n

Candlelight Concerts:\u00a0Friday, December 4th, 8pm\u00a0and\u00a0Saturday, December 5th, 4pm<\/strong><\/p>\n

After our 30th<\/sup> candlelight concert last year, we can’t wait to get back into the chapel and perform the truly moving pieces that make the concert so memorable for the audience and those of us singing. Full of the spirit of the season, every year, these concerts get even better and tend to sell out so buy your tickets early!<\/p>\n

When we aren’t rehearsing or performing we do plan some time for fun! This semester we plan to go to:<\/p>\n

Apple Picking<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brown Hauntings<\/strong> \u2013 a Halloween experience not to be forgotten at Brown\u2019s College<\/p>\n

ThanksGLEEving<\/strong>\u00a0– a potluck around thanksgiving with our brothers in song, the Glee club!<\/p>\n

Lighting of the Lawn<\/strong> \u2013 The continued UVa tradition of all the music groups on Grounds performing for students, faculty, and community members before the magical light show on the lawn that celebrates the spirit of the holiday season.<\/p>\n

Grinching<\/strong> \u2013 watching a Christmas classic, How the Grinch Stole Christmas with the Glee Club–our favorite way to get in the Christmas spirit!<\/p>\n

Thank you all for your continued support of the chorus, we hope to see you at our Family Weekend or Candlelight Concerts!<\/p>\n
