The Yeardley Love Endowment will forever honor the legacy of Yeardley Love \u201910 as a student, athlete and active member of the Delta Chi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta.\u00a0 The chapter, alumnae and friends created the endowed fund which provides scholarships, program support and alumnae grants. View past winners<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Yeardley Love Endowment Scholarship<\/strong> for initiated Delta Chi sisters remembers Yeardley\u2019s life and honors her character and involvement in the University. Initiated members and alumnae of the Delta Chi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta may apply. New members of the Delta Chi Chapter may also apply, provided they are initiated by the application deadline.<\/p>\n

The Yeardley Love Endowment Program Grant <\/b>helps to promote educational programming around Grounds that focuses on violence and violence prevention.<\/p>\n

In times of crisis and extraordinary circumstances, The Yeardley Love Endowment Alumnae Grant<\/strong> assists Theta sisters when they have overwhelming health and\/or personal expenses or when their communities experience natural disasters.<\/p>\n

A contribution to The Yeardley Love Endowment counts toward one\u2019s overall and annual giving to the University and the Capital Campaign. The fund is managed by the Alumni Association\u2019s UVA Fund, and every contribution receives a mailed gift receipt for tax purposes.<\/p>\n

If this is your reunion year, a reunion gift to the University may be designated to The Yeardley Love Endowment.<\/p>\n
