We are partnering with the Alumni Association to hold a <a href=\"https:\/\/uvaalumni.org\/calendar\/event\/lavender-graduate-reception\/\">Lavender Graduate Reception<\/a> for graduating students, and we are awarding more in <a href=\"https:\/\/aig.uvaalumni.org\/qva\/scholarships\/\">scholarships<\/a> than ever before to ensure the LGBTQ+ community on Grounds feels supported and celebrated. We are also continuing to build alumni community around the country:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Earlier this year we hosted events in Los Angeles and San Francisco.<\/li>\n<li>On May 19, we\u2019ll be holding a mixer in Washington, D.C., at <a href=\"https:\/\/numberninedc.com\/\">Number Nine<\/a> from 6-8 p.m. EST. \u2014 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/uva-lgbtq-mix-mingle-in-washington-dc-tickets-1989040708302?aff=oddtdtcreator\">Register today<\/a>!<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>We\u2019ll have <a href=\"https:\/\/uvaalumni.org\/reunions\/reunions-2026\/\">Reunions<\/a> events on Friday, June 5, and Saturday, May 6.
