The QVA Fellowship is a paid position that works with board members, Alumni Hall staff, and the larger university community to aid in realizing QVA’s vision of connecting all LGBTQ+ community members.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Joshua Liberman<\/b><\/h3>\n

2025 Biology|He\/Him\/His<\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Josh is pursuing a degree in Biology with minors in Spanish and Korean. In his role at QVA, he brings energy and fiery passion to the team while carrying out QVA’s mission to advance and uplift the LGBTQIA+ community on and beyond Grounds. Outside of QVA, Josh is an active member of his national honor fraternity, Phi Sigma Pi, where he currently serves as Standards Keeper. Additionally, Josh participates in many other CIOs on grounds, including the Queer Student Union, First Year Players (FYP), the Rocky Horror Picture group, Beach Volleyball Club, the Korean Student Association (KSA), and Volunteers with International Students, Staff, & Scholars (VISAS). When he has free time, he enjoys exploring new cultures and cuisines, learning languages, exercising, cooking, playing video games, and watching Netflix.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ethan McCue<\/b><\/h3>\n

As a 2023 graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences, Ethan received a degree with a double major in Foreign Affairs & Arabic Language. He also took classes at UVA in Spanish, Portuguese, and French. He now works as a management consultant for a boutique firm that focuses on the AEC industry. He was on the Reider-Otis scholarship committee and also worked with the LGBTQ Speakers Bureau to raise awareness on grounds. He served as QVA’s Operations Fellow from August 2021 to 2023 and was responsible for a wide range of behind-the-scenes logistics as well as event planning. Outside QVA, Ethan was a Social Co-Chair in Brown Residential College, a Senior Consultant in the socially responsible consulting group Enactus, and External Sponsorships Lead for the UVA Solar Car Team. In his free time he enjoys reading Spanish literature and exploring his new home of Seattle.<\/span><\/p>\n

Landon Holben<\/b><\/h3>\n

Landon is currently a J.D. Candidate at Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law. A 2021 graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences, as the Special Projects Fellow, he worked to compile and archive QVA’s history and efforts, supported scholarship initiatives, assisted in the planning of events, and more. At UVA, Landon was the Managing Editor and Media Manager of the Virginia Journal of International Affairs, a writer for the Virginia Review of Politics, a news reporter for WUVA, and a member of Student Council’s Academic Affairs Committee. Previously, Landon has worked as a visiting researcher for smart city technology in Dublin, IE, and as a fellow on several local political campaigns.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mariatu Mansaray<\/b><\/h3>\n

During her time at UVA, Mariatu served as the Political Action Committee co-chair. Mari is currently working in healthcare with plans to pursue medical school.
