Tucker Benton \u02bc24 and Chris Marotta \u02bc24 enjoying New Orleans during National Convention<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Brothers,<\/p>\n

Our Houseman, Tucker Benton \u02bc24 and I attended the 69th General Convention in New Orleans this summer (above). We had a hectic start, as our flight was a few hours late, and we only had about five minutes to get changed and run over to the Convention. Once we were there, we got to meet some awesome brothers from other chapters and had a lot of fun with them! We also got to experience ritual exemplification and learned a lot about properly conducting rituals and maintaining our secrets.<\/p>\n

Seeing New Orleans was a great experience – from doing a Haunted Bar Crawl and listening to incredible Jazz on every corner, to trying absinthe, and eating all the oysters I could handle! We also got to check out the New Orleans Jazz Museum with Bill Hamilton \u02bc79 and his family. Alongside all the fun, we learned a lot from the convention and our peers from other chapters.<\/p>\n

This was an awesome experience for us, and I am happy that we had the opportunity to go!<\/p>\n
