FISCAL YEAR: JULY 1, 2024 – JUNE 30, 2025
This past fiscal year, which ended June 30, 2025, was yet another successful year for the Eli Banana Fund. We are pleased to report that after gift disbursements, the Fund has grown to $2.7 million. The Fund continues to positively impact the UVA community through its continued support of the Eli Endowment for Historic Preservation and the Eli Scholarship Endowment for deserving students in the Greek system.
The Eli organization is thriving, and active membership is almost 50. We held our annual Drum and Robe Convocation
(formerly the Whiskey Conference) in the fall, as well as a “History Night” in advance of the Drum and Robe Convocation, where alumni and directors of the Eli Banana Fund present the history and traditions of Eli Banana to active members.
We encourage everyone to attend our Eli events in 2026 and beyond. In just two years, Eli Banana will celebrate its 150th anniversary as the oldest honorary society at UVA. We are planning a grand celebration of this important milestone, to be held in Charlottesville in either the spring or fall
of 2028.
