The Bolívar Alumni Network is excited to share three upcoming opportunities with you:
YAR Weekend Networking Mixer
Join us for an afternoon of networking, connection, and community building with some of the Bolívar Network Board, students, and alumni. There will be light refreshments and snacks from a local Cville spot.
- Location: Newcomb Hall – Latinx Student Center (LSC)
- Date: October 18, 2025 | 1–3 p.m.
- Registration: Register for the YAR Weekend Networking Mixer
Alumni from the classes of 2025, 2024, and 2023: extend the Homecoming Weekend’s festivities by attending the Alumni Association’s Young Alumni Reunions (YAR) from 8-11 p.m. at the Ting Pavilion. Tickets are on sale now!

Applications are now open for our book scholarships! Please help us spread the word to students who may benefit. Encourage current students to apply! See past winners.
DC Happy Hour
Enjoy an evening of networking, conversation, and community at Salazar in the heart of D.C. The Bolívar Network will cover the first round for the first to arrive!

Whether you’re connecting with alumni and students, attending a mixer with other alumni groups, or sharing our mission with your friends, your support keeps this community strong. Stay tuned for more announcements and ways to connect.

- Support students: If you are interested in helping on an ad-hoc basis (attending the occasional panel or connecting with students if we get a specific request) please fill out this interest form.
- Donate: Donate to our scholarships and our leadership fund. Thanks to your support, we’re able to provide scholarships to current students and support regional in-person meet-ups. If you are able, please consider donating to support our efforts of community building and connection.
- Share professional opportunities: Join our LinkedIn Private Group to share job openings, scholarships, etc. with other alumni.
- Connect with the board: If you are interested in joining the board or learning more about The Bolívar Network, please email TheBolívarNetwork@gmail.com to schedule a coffee chat.
