AAPAAN wants your input!<\/p>\n

We launched the\u202fAAPI Advancement Award<\/a>\u202fin the spring of 2022\u202fto\u202fhonor\u202fcurrent\u202fUVA faculty\u202fmembers\u202fwho have made\u202fsignificant contributions towards greater understanding and appreciation of Asian culture or\u202fAsian-American\u202frelations.\u202fWe were thrilled by the strong support of the AAPI\u202falumni\u202fcommunity for the award since its inauguration, and we want to make the 2026\u202faward\u202four\u202fmost inclusive yet\u202f-\u202fso\u202fonce again\u202fwe are asking you to nominate, and then help select, the best candidate\u202ffor this special honor.<\/strong> The\u202frecipient\u202fwill receive\u202fa Jefferson Cup and\u202f$1,000!<\/p>\n

The nomination form for the 2026 AAPI Advancement Award<\/a> is now live<\/strong> and can be accessed through February 13, 2026! Once the survey results have been tallied, we will send a follow up link where\u202fyou\u202fcan vote.<\/p>\n

We plan to present this year\u2019s award on April 25, 2026, during Asian Alumni Weekend. We are super excited about this year’s celebration, and we really\u202fcan’t\u202fdo it without your support. Please help us make this event a success, both with your nomination and with your vote.<\/p>\n
