Hello, friends!<\/p>\n

During the 2024-2025 academic year, UVA\u2019s Asian and Asian Pacific American Alumni Network (AAPAAN) remained dedicated to its mission of establishing a network that fosters connections and provides support for Asian alumni within the University of Virginia community.<\/p>\n

In April, we held our first Asian Alumni weekend.<\/strong> This expanded our signature AAPAAN dinner celebration to include a welcome reception at the Asian American Student Center, a day trip to Carter Mountain, a special Asian guided tour of the Grounds, and delicious Bodo’s bagels to close out the weekend.<\/p>\n

Our Engagement Committee, led by Sanjeev Kumar (Com<\/abbr> class of <\/span>\u201923, Col<\/abbr> class of <\/span>\u201923)<\/strong>, has been highly active this year. The committee has organized various events throughout the year, primarily in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, with a couple in New York City. For our Hoos who have settled in Boston, Atlanta, or California, we are planning events in your area, so stay tuned<\/strong>. We endeavor to host events that resonate with young alumni, families, and senior alumni.<\/p>\n

Our work is not possible without your support. I hope you\u2019ll continue to help us with a financial donation. We\u2019re always looking for volunteers to turn vision into reality.
