AAPAAN Scholarship Applications
Applications for AAPAAN scholarships will open in January. Applicants must apply through the AwardSpring platform, and will need to set up a username and password to register and submit.
Currently, these awards are limited to undergraduates. We seek to present these awards to those who have demonstrated merit, academic achievement, leadership in their communities, and a strong interest in studying and promoting Asian cultures. Application for these awards is open to all undergraduate students regardless of their ethnic origin or cultural heritage.
To learn more about the different awards, please visit our scholarships page.
Giving Opportunities
Giving Tuesday
This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to be part of something powerful!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of Wee Yee (Engr ’74), your donation to AAPAAN will go twice as far. Wee is matching all gifts made to AAPAAN’s 2025 fundraising efforts which include not just his original scholarship, but for all initiatives that support our vibrant AAPISA community.
Whether you’re passionate about mentorship for current students, career development, or cultural programming, your contribution will help AAPAAN continue to grow and thrive.
Give on December 2 to have your gift matched and make double the difference.
Hoos Got Sole
Want to support AAPAAN while snagging a pair of cozy winter socks? The University’s Hoos Got Sole fundraising campaign distributes one pair of “Academical Argyle” socks for donations of $25 or more to any area of the University.
The campaign has options to designate your donation to The AAPAAN Scholarship Fund, The AAPAAN Yee Family American Dream Scholarship, The Jack T. Chen Memorial Scholarship, or The Asian & Asian Pacific American Alumni Network, all of which can be found by entering “AAPAAN” into the designation field.
YARden Event Recap
Thank you to everyone for coming to the YARden event! We had such a great time seeing both old and new faces. Thank you to everyone in AAPAAN who made it possible to support “The Poetics of Immanence” exhibit for the students who participated in the UVA Architecture in China program.
