2024-2025 Annual Report

Hello, friends!

We just released our 2024-2025 annual report, which demonstrates how UVA’s Asian and Asian Pacific American Alumni Network (AAPAAN) remained dedicated to its mission of establishing a network that fosters connections and provides support for Asian alumni within the University of Virginia community.

Our engagement committee, led by Sanjeev Kumar (Com class of ’23, Col class of ’23), has been highly active this year. We recap and preview some events in this newsletter, and go into even more depth in our annual report. The committee has organized various events throughout the year, primarily in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, with a couple in New York City. We’ve also held events for our Hoos who have settled in Boston, Atlanta, and Los Angeles.

Our work is not possible without your support, and I hope you’ll continue to help us with a financial donation. We have an exciting donation matching opportunity hosted by Wee Yee (Engr class of ’76) this fall and hope you’ll participate. Have an idea for an event or initiative? We’re always looking for volunteers to turn vision into reality. To get involved with AAPAAN, or just to share your thoughts, please reach out to me at randywong@alumni.virginia.edu, or check out our “Get Involved” webpage.

Wahoowa!
